The Logistics Officer serves a vital role in the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
The individual tasked with this assignment is responsible for the purchase of all materials related to new vehicles and officer equipment. Along with purchasing, Logistics is responsible for inventory control, time accounting and scheduling of personnel, and processing and accounting of vehicle and building maintenace. Logistics also oversees the transportation of evidence and other similar duties.
The Logistics assignment is also responsible for scheduling Officers for special events, such as construction details.
