The Egg Harbor Township Police Department in partnership with the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League provides this "Child Identification Card" as a localized source of this important information. It is recommended that the parent/guardian keep this card safe, yet readily accessible. It is also recommended that this card be updated annually.
- Chief of Police, Blaze Catania The Egg Harbor Township Child ID Program creates a credit card sized, plastic card, which contains a facial photograph of your child along with personal identifiers which you provide at the time the card is created. The information provided is not stored by the police department. The information is transferred to the ID card and handed over to the parent for safe keeping. The card should be carried whenever you are with the child, should they becomes missing. Check the "Community Events" page for dates, times, and locations . Businesses or community groups may choose to sponsor a Child ID Program event by purchasing the needed supplies. In return the business or group’s logo can be placed on the back of the ID cards. For more information on sponsoring a Child ID Event please contact Officer Curt Ware in the Juvenile & Community Services Unit at 926-2643. |
