Following these tips will help you reduce your wait timeat the security checkpoint. |

Before the Airport: |
|||||||||||||||||
* DO NOT pack or bring prohibited items to the airport. Read the Permitted and Prohibited  Items list.* Place valuables such as jewelry, laptop computers, and cash in carry-on baggage only. * Avoid wearing shoes, clothing, jewelry, and accessories that contain metal. Metal items may set off the alarm on the metal detector. * Put all undeveloped film and cameras with film in your carry-on baggage. Checked baggage screening equipment will damage undeveloped film. * Declare firearms & ammunition to your airline and place it in your checked baggage. * If you wish to lock your baggage, use a TSA recognized lock. * Do not bring prohibited lighters and matches to the airport. |

At the Airport: |

*Keep available your airline boarding pass and government-issued photo ID for each adult traveler until you exit the security checkpoint.
* Take your laptop and video cameras with cassettes OUT of their cases Please arrive at least two hours prior to your scheduled departure time. This will ensure that you get your ticket, have your baggage screened and then go through the security check point before your flight departs. Do Not leave any baggage unattended. This will cause the baggage to be confiscated and searched. PARKING:There is ample parking at the airport.The current fees are: Long Term – First hour is FREE; each additional hour is $1.00 to a maximum of $6.00 per day. Short Term – First hour is FREE; each additional hour is $1.00 to a maximum of $13.00 per day. More Parking Questions click on PARKING FAQ'sYou may choose your way to handle a parking transaction – either the ticketless E-Ticket Express or the more traditional pay at the terminal payment station. Using a ticket. Upon entering the parking lot, take a ticket from the dispenser and remember to keep the ticket with you. Upon returning to the airport, look for the payment station inside the terminal and place your ticket into the machine to make payment by following the posted instructions to pay either by credit card or with cash. Recommended is the E-Ticket Express using a credit card. Upon entering the parking lot, swipe your card. When ready to leave, simply swipe the same credit card at the exit. Take your receipt and go.
